Our Mission
Tiny Air designs, develops and makes products that mitigate environmentally damaging practices within surgical decontamination.
Our Vision
To transform surgical instrument processing through innovation, creating a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable healthcare environment worldwide.
Our Story

Based in Southwest Scotland, Tiny Air was founded on a simple principle: there must be a better way to clean surgical instruments without damaging our environment.
Our journey began after observing the inefficiencies and environmental impact of traditional pre-cleaning methods. We developed prototype machines that are now entering trials within NHS Scotland Central Decontamination Units.
Our automated systems have been designed to eliminate manual pre-cleaning and with it the consumption of 7.5 million gallons of hot water and 178,000 gallons of chemical detergents in the UK annually.
Our products make pre-cleaning safer, much faster and improve the working conditions for the sterile services staff, they also have the potential to significantly reduce the adoption of single use surgical devices by improving cleaning outcomes and increasing capacity within decontamination departments.
